Place battery on levelsurface. Remove Vent cap from battery vent located
on top side portion of battery. (see figure 20)
Remove ceil caps using a pair of pliers. (see figure 21)
Wear eye protectionand rubber gloves for this step. Cut off tip of
electrolyte bottle and attach tube. Place other end of tube in battery and
allow the electrolyte to drain in battery ceil. Fill battery to upper level mark
located on front of battery. Repeat step for each of the 6 cells (see figure
22)
After each ceil is filled with electrolyte to upper level, remove tube from
battery and set electrolyte aside.
Discardempty electrolyte bottle in a waste area that isinaccessibleto
children and animals.
After filling let battery stand for at least 30 minutes before charging. This
allows the electrolyte to penetrate plates for optimum performance and
ensures longer battery life.
After 30minutes the battery is ready for its initial charge. Place caps loosely
over ceil holes.
How to Initiaii_qe the batte_:
1. Connect the red positive (+) cable to the red positive (+) pole of the battery.
(see figure 24)
2. Connect the black negative (°)cable to the black negative (°) pole of the
battery. (see figure 25)
Note: The red positive (+) cable has a larger diameter than the black
negative y cable.

Charging rate: Charge battery @ 0.7 Amps for
5~ 10 hours.

After charging iscomplete, re°install securely aii six battery caps (see
figure 26)
Nnstammbattery into battery tray mocatedunder seat (see figure 27).
Once battery isfirmly seated intray, attach red positive (+)wire to positive
(+)terminamon battery, then attach bmacknegative (-)wire to negative (-)
terminal on battery (see figure 28)
install battery under seat
