WARRANTY

YOURWARRANTYRIGHTSANDOBLIGATIONS

Theemissioncontrolsystemwarrantyperiodfor thisvehiclebeginsonthedate

thevehicleisdeliveredtothefirst purchaserotherthananauthorizeddealer,or

thedate it is first usedasa demonstrator,lease,or companyvehicle,whichever

comesfirst andcontinuesfor 60monthsafterthatdate,or 5,000kin,whichever

comesfirst, providedtherehasbeenno abuse,neglector impropermaintenance

ofyour vehicle.Whereawarrantableconditionexists,the Distributorwill repair

yourvehicleat nocostto you,includingdiagnosis,partsandlabor.If anemis-

sion-relatedpartonyourvehicleisdefective,thepartwillberepairedor replaced

bytheDistributor.Thisisyouremissioncontroldefectswarranty.

OWNER'SWARRANTYRESPONSIBILITIES

Asthevehicleowner,youare responsiblefor the performanceof the required

maintenance.Youshouldmaintaina recordof all maintenanceperformedonyour

vehicleandretainall receiptscoveringmaintenanceonyourvehicle. Youmaynot

bedenieda warrantyclaimsolelybecauseofyourfailure to ensuretheperfor-

manceofall scheduledmaintenanceor lackof maintenancerecordsor receipts.

Youareresponsiblefor presentingyourvehicleto an authorizeddealeras soon

asa problemexists.Thewarrantyrepairsshouldbecompletedina reasonable

amountoftime,notto exceed30 days.

Asthevehicleowner,youshouldbeawarethatyoumaybe deniedyourwarranty

coverageifyourvehicleor a parthasfailed dueto abuse,neglect,impropermain-

tenance,or unapprovedmodifications.

WARRANTYCOVERAGE

TheDistributorwarrantsthateachnew2009and latervehicle:

• isdesigned,built,andequippedsoasto conformat thetime of initial

retailpurchasewithall applicableregulationsof the UnitedStatesEnvironmental

ProtectionAgency,andtheCaliforniaAirResourcesBoard;and

• isfree from defectsinmaterialandworkmanshipwhichcausesuch

vehicletofail toconfirmwithapplicableregulationsoftheUnitedStatesEnviron-

mentalProtectionAgencyorthe CaliforniaAir ResourcesBoardfor theperiods

specifiedabove.
