Usea gardenhoseat lowpressureto removethe majorityof dirtor other

debris. HandwashyourATVwith mildsoapordetergentandwater. Tryto

thoroughlyremoveall dirtanddebriswithoutexcessivewaterpressure,even

atremoteareassuchas betweenenginecoolingfins, linkagesor mounting

brackets.Clothrags,washingmittsor cleaningbrushescanbe used. Be

carefulwithbrushesasthey mayscratchplasticorpaintedsurfaces. Rinse

theATVthoroughlywithcleanwater. Dryallareasusinga chamoisorsoft

absorbentcloth.

INSPECTIONAFTERCLEANING

Removetheragsorwrappingfrom theexhaustpipe. Forextendedlifeof your

ATV,lubricateaccordingto GENERALLUBRICATIONsection.

Followtheproceduresinthe INSPECTIONBEFORERIDINGsectiontocheck

yourATVfor anyproblemsthatmayhaveoccurredduringyour lastride.

OperatingtheATVwithwetbrakescouldbehazardous.

Wetbrakesmaynotprovideas muchstoppingpowerasdry brakes.

Thiscouldleadto an accident.

TestyourbrakesafterwashingtheATV,ridingat a slowspeed. If

necessary,applybrakeseveraltimesto let thefriction dryoutthe

linings.
