Note:Thefollowing pageisfor vehicleswithbattery'scontainingseparate
electrolytepack.Mostbatterieswillcomewiththe electrolytealreadysealed
intothe battery.
Preparinqthe battery:
Placebatteryon levelsurface.Removesealing
tapefrom top. (seefigure 20)
Taketheelectrolytecontaineroutof the plastic
bag.
Placeelectrolytecontainerupsidedownwiththe
sealedsilvermouthsof the electrolytebottlesin
linewiththesix filler holesofthebattery.(see
figure 21)
Pushthecontainerdownstronglyenoughto
breakthesilverseals.
Aselectrolytestartsflowing intobattery,air
bubbleswillcomeupfrom the mouthsofthe
plasticelectrolytebottles.
Leavebottlesupsidedownin batteryholesuntil
electrolyteis completelydrained.
Neverleavechildrenunattendedaroundbattery.
Ifair bubblesceasetofloat to thetopof the
electrolytebottles,taplightlyon top.
DONOTremovecontainerfrom batterywhileitis
draining.
Nevercutor pierceelectrolytecontainer.
Afterallthe electrolytehasdrainedfrom the
bottlesintothe battery,pullplasticelectrolyte
bottlesgentlyoutof the battery.
Discardemptyelectrolytebottlesin awastearea
thatis inaccessibleto childrenandanimals.
Afterfilling, letbatterystandfor at least30
minutesbeforecharging.Thisallowsthe
electrolyteto penetrateplatesfor optimum
performanceandensureslongerbatterylife.
After30 minutesthebatteryisreadyfor itsinitial
charge.Placecapstriplooselyoverthefilling
holesas showninthepicture.(seefigure 23)
