Youremissioncontrolsystemwarrantycoverscomponentswhosefailure would

increasean engine'semission,includingelectroniccontrols,fuel injectionsystem,

carburetor,theignitionsystem,catalyticconverter,oranyothersystemutilizedin

thisvehicleto controlemissionifitisoriginallyequipped.Alsoincludedmaybe

hoses,connectorsandotheremission-relatedassemblies.Replacingor repairing

othercomponents(includingparts,labor,andothercosts)notcoveredbythis

emissioncontrolsystemwarrantyorthe standardwarrantyistheresponsibilityof

theowner.

Coverageof repairsunderthiswarrantyappliesonlywhenrepairsare completed

atan authorizeddealeror repairfacility. TheDistributorwill notcoverrepairs

performedoutsideofanauthorizeddealeror repairfacility. Theuseof

replacementpartsnotequivalentto theoriginalpartsmayimpairtheeffectiveness

ofyourvehicle'semissioncontrolsystem. Ifsucha replacementpartis usedand

anauthorizeddealerdeterminesitisdefectiveor causesafailure of a warranted

part,yourclaimfor repairto bringyourvehicleintocompliancewithapplicable

standardsmaybedenied.

ThisEmissionControlSystemWarrantyis in additionto thestandardLimited

Warranty.

EXCLUSIONSANDLIMITATIONS

Thiswarrantydoesnotcoverthefollowing:

• Failuresormalfunctionsof the emissioncontrolsystemscausedby

abuse,alteration,accident,misuse,the useofleadedgasoline.

• Replacementofexpendablemaintenanceitemsunlesstheyareoriginal

equipmentdefectiveinmaterialorworkmanshipundernormaluse,andthefirst

requiredreplacementintervalfor theitemhasnot beenreached.Expendable

maintenanceitemsincludebutnotlimitedto sparkplugs,filters, coolant,

lubricants,gaskets,hoses,andbelts.

• Replacementsofpartsandotherservicesandadjustmentsfor required

maintenance.

• Anyvehicleequippedwithanodometeror hourmeterwherethe reading

isalteredsothatactualmileagecannotbereadilydetermined.

• Repairsor replacementsasa resultof:

o Accident

o Misuse
