Youremissioncontrolsystemwarrantycoverscomponentswhosefailure

wouldincreaseanengine'semission,includingelectroniccontrols,fuel injec-

tionsystem,carburetor,theignitionsystem,catalyticconverter,oranyother

systemutilizedinthisvehicleto controlemissionif it is originallyequipped.

Alsoincludedmaybehoses,connectorsandotheremission-relatedassem-

blies. Replacingorrepairingothercomponents(includingparts,labor,and

othercosts)notcoveredbythisemissioncontrolsystemwarrantyor the

standardwarrantyisthe responsibilityofthe owner.

Coverageof repairsunderthiswarrantyappliesonlywhenrepairsare com-

pletedat an authorizeddealeror repairfacility. TheDistributorwillnotcover

repairsperformedoutsideofanauthorizeddealeror repairfacility. The useof

replacementpartsnotequivalentto theoriginalpartsmayimpairthe effective-

nessofyourvehicle'semissioncontrolsystem. If sucha replacementpartis

usedandan authorizeddealerdeterminesit is defectiveor causesafailure of

awarrantedpart,yourclaimfor repairtobringyourvehicleintocompliance

withapplicablestandardsmaybedenied.

ThisEmissionControlSystemWarrantyisinadditionto the standardLimited

Warranty.

EXCLUSIONSANDLIMITATIONS

Thiswarrantydoesnotcoverthefollowing:

• Failuresor malfunctionsof the emissioncontrolsystemscausedby

abuse,alteration,accident,misuse,theuseofleadedgasoline.

• Replacementofexpendablemaintenanceitemsunlesstheyare

originalequipmentdefectiveinmaterialorworkmanshipundernormaluse,

andthefirstrequiredreplacementintervalforthe itemhas notbeenreached.

Expendablemaintenanceitemsincludebut notlimitedto sparkplugs,filters,

coolant,lubricants,gaskets,hoses,andbelts.

• Replacementsofpartsandotherservicesandadjustmentsfor

requiredmaintenance.

• Anyvehicleequippedwithanodometerorhourmeterwherethe

readingisalteredsothatactualmileagecannotbereadilydetermined.

• Repairsor replacementsasa resultof:
