YOURWARRANTYRIGHTSANDOBLIGATIONS

Theemissioncontrolsystemwarrantyperiodfor thisvehiclebeginson the

datethevehicleisdeliveredtothefirst purchaserotherthanan authorized

dealer,orthe dateit isfirst usedasa demonstrator,lease,or company

vehicle,whichevercomesfirst andcontinuesfor 60monthsafterthatdate,or

5,000kin,whichevercomesfirst, providedtherehasbeennoabuse,neglector

impropermaintenanceofyourvehicle.Whereawarrantableconditionexists,

theDistributorwillrepairyourvehicleat nocostto you,includingdiagnosis,

partsandlabor. If an emission-relatedpartonyourvehicleisdefective,the

partwillberepairedor replacedbytheDistributor.Thisisyouremission

controldefectswarranty.

OWNER'SWARRANTYRESPONSIBILITIES

Asthe vehicle owner,youareresponsiblefor the performanceoftherequired

maintenance.Youshouldmaintaina recordof all maintenanceperformedon

yourvehicleandretainall receiptscoveringmaintenanceonyourvehicle.

Youmaynotbe denieda warrantyclaimsolelybecauseof yourfailure to

ensuretheperformanceofallscheduledmaintenanceor lackofmaintenance

recordsor receipts.Youareresponsiblefor presentingyourvehicleto an

authorizeddealerassoonasa problemexists.Thewarrantyrepairsshouldbe

completedina reasonableamountof time,nottoexceed30 days.

Asthevehicleowner,youshouldbeawarethatyoumaybedeniedyour

warrantycoverageifyourvehicleora parthasfailed dueto abuse,neglect,

impropermaintenance,or unapprovedmodifications.

WARRANTYCOVERAGE

The Distributorwarrantsthateachnew2009andlater vehicle:

• isdesigned,built,andequippedsoas toconformatthetimeofinitial

retailpurchasewithallapplicableregulationsof the UnitedStatesEnviron-

mentalProtectionAgency,andthe CaliforniaAir ResourcesBoard;and

• isfree from defectsinmaterialandworkmanshipwhichcausesuch

vehicletofail to confirmwithapplicableregulationsoftheUnitedStatesEn-

vironmentalProtectionAgencyortheCaliforniaAir ResourcesBoardfor the

periodsspecifiedabove.
