1.Removethesparkplugandreattachittothesparkpluglead.

2. Turnignitionkey to the"RUN" position. Slidetheenginestopswitchto the

"Run" position. Push theelectricbutton"START"(grey button). Applytherear

brakeleverto makesuretherearwheelsare locked. Iftheignitionsystemis

operatingproperly,abluesparkshouldjump acrossthesparkpluggap. Ifthere

is nospark,takeyour machineto your servicecenter.

Performingthesparktestimproperlycouldbe hazardous.

Youcouldgeta highvoltageelectricalshockifyouarenotfamiliarwiththisprocedure.

Donotperformthischeckifyou arenotfamiliar withthe procedure.Donotpoint

thespark plugnearthe sparkplugholeduringthis test. Do notdothistest ifyou

havea heartconditionorweara pacemaker.Donotperformthistestisany near

anyopenfuel containersfor nearfuel whichhasspilledon the ground,onthe

engine,or anypartof theGo-kart.

COMPLAINT:Enginestalls

1. Makesurethereis enoughfuel inthefuel tank.

2. Checkto seethat thesparkplugis not fouled. Removethesparkplugandclean

it. Replaceit,if necessary.

3. Makesurethefuel valveis not clogged,andthefuel tank is notclogged,either.

4. Checkthe idlespeed. Ifnecessary,adjust itusinga tachometer.The correctidle

speedis 1400-1600 r/rain.
