Preparing the battery: Placebatteryon levelsurface.Removecap stripfrom top of battery. (seefigure 20) Wear eye protectionand rubberglovesfor this step. Oncebatterystripis removed, locateelectrolytein bottleand placeoverthe six openings. Pressfirmly downon bottle allowingthe batteryto piercethe six in-line openingsin bottle. NOTE: This Go-Kartusesresistor-typesparkplug to avoidjamming electronicparts. Impropersparkplug selectionmaycauseelectronic interferencewith your Kartsignitionsystem,resultingin vehicleperformance problems. Use recommendedsparkplugs.
