2.3. Connecting ALT with Your Mobile Phone
Before you use the device, you must first pair it with a mobile phone. A successful
pairing establishes a unique link between ALT and the mobile phone.
1. Make sure that ALT is powered on and not already connected to any other
device. This can be confirmed by the blinking Bluetooth Connection Status icon
on ALT.
2. Make sure that the mobile phone is turned on and its Bluetooth feature is
activated.
3. On your mobile phone, run a Bluetooth scan.
4. On the list of scanned devices, select ALT to start the pairing process.
5. Confirm completion of paring as indicated by the solid Bluetooth Connection
Icon on ALT.

2.4. Sending Measurements to Your Mobile Phone
Once ALT is successfully paired with your mobile phone, you can use it to take and send
size measurements.
Send
Press Button 1 to send the current measurement to your mobile phone.
Skip
Press Button 2 to skip a measurement. This button imitates the ENTER key on your
mobile phone and sends the cursor to the next input item.
Undo
Press Button 3 to undo. This button will imitate the UNDO feature on your mobile phone
and cancel your previous action.
2.5. Changing Units
Press and hold Button 1 to change measurement units. You can select from fractional
inches, centimeters, and millimeters.
