Installation Guide Introduction This document describes the READCENTER Installation and configuration procedure on Windows 7 (Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise Editions). READCENTER Installation In order to run READCENTER in Windows 7, the privilege level must be set to run as an administrator. These settings are shown in more detail on page 13 of this guide. 1. Insert the READCENTER CD. The following screen is displayed: 2. Click on Install or run Program. 3.

Installation Guide READCENTER Configuration 1. Browse to the installation folder C:\Program Files\Badger Meter, Inc\READCENTER. 2. Right-click on ReadCenter.exe and select Properties.

READCENTER Version 1.2.1 for Windows 7 3. Click on the Compatibility Tab. 4. For the current user, in Privilege Level, check the box Run this program as an administrator and then click OK. Note: To apply the same setting for all users, click on Show settings for all users.
