Troubleshooting
This section gives you guidelines on how to respond if you encounter the situations described below during normal
READCENTER operations.
Situation:
DUPLICATE MODULE SERIAL #
A unique serial number is required for each transmitter (module). Occasionally, when a duplicate serial number is
detected, the system displays the Duplicate Module Serial # pop up box.
The software noties the user of exceptions and
recommends running the Duplicate Module Serial #
report under Route Reading Reports.
1. Choose Route Reading Reports.
2. Highlight Duplicate Module Serial #.
3. Click View Report to view the results.
A list of duplicate serial numbers will display. The user can
reference the module serial number to assist in correcting
the error or click Show Record to nd additional account
information such as account number if necessary.
