4. Click the Update button for an endpoint at the top of the list with a green bar in the RSSI eld.
OTE:N Updates take place individually. Multiple Update buttons cannot be selected simultaneously.
Result: The screen information changes to show the update process:
• The endpoint serial number and encoder type are identified.
• The current firmware version is identified.
• A progress bar displays as the firmware is updated.
OTE:N You can click Cancel to stop the update of the selected endpoint and select another endpoint.

• The progress bar disappears, the firmware update is validated and a message confirms the endpoint has
been updated to the new firmware version. The updated endpoint is removed from the list as shown in the
example below.

OTE:N As each endpoint is updated, it is removed from the list and displayed on the Completed Updates screen.
Refer to "Completed Updates" on page27 for more information.
5. Repeat step 4 for each endpoint on the list in active communication with the software.
OTE:N If an endpoint fails to update after several attempts, reposition the vehicle and retry. For additional help,
refer to "Troubleshooting" on page47.
