INDEX COVER AND INDEX REMOVAL FROM AN ITRON METER
1. Remove two (2) security seals from the index cover. Use a large screwdriver to puncture and remove the tamper plugs if
they are present.

2. Use a large screwdriver to remove the four (4) index cover screws. Set cover aside for reuse. Discard the four (4) screws.

3. Remove the index. Set aside for reuse. Discard the two (2) screws. See Figure 3.
