Hardware Solutions for Gas Utilities

HOT KEYS, QUICK KEYS, READ KEYS
The handheld software includes a number of Hot Keys and Quick Keys that provide meter reading shortcuts.
Hot Key Press and hold the Fn key – then quickly press and release the hot key to perform the desired function.
Release the Fn key after releasing the hot key.
Example: Press and hold Fn, then press B to bookmark an account.
Quick Key Double or single press the alpha key (depending on Settings) for the desired function to perform.
Example: To change the route reading direction, press DD on the keypad. To change the route reading
direction back, press DD again.
Read Key Several functions can be performed with a single key press only when the account read screen is in use.
They are displayed in the Read Screen (last) column in the table below.
