Working with the Handheld Battery
Charging the Battery
The AC charger that ships with the unit has adapters to fit almost every electrical outlet. Connect the appropriate outlet
adapter to the AC charger. To charge the battery, plug the AC charger into the charging port on the bottom of the handheld
and plug the charger into an electrical outlet.
The handheld is fully charged in approximately 4.5
hours using the AC charger.
Acceptable temperature range for charging the
battery is 5...35° C (41...95° F).
Notification LEDs
The handheld has three notification LEDs (light
emitting diode) at the top that display color
indicators as shown in the table to show the
charging status. See the picture of the handheld on
page 58 to see the notification LEDs.

Fully charge the battery at least 4 hours before use. The battery LED (left LED) will turn green when fully charged.
Office Docking Station
When using the handheld docking station (instead of
using the AC charger) to charge the battery, be sure
the handheld is fully seated into the dock and the
charging pins are in full contact with the handheld.
The LED on the right front on the dock is steady
green (does not flash) when the power is on and the
handheld is docked.
The docking station is designed to be set up on a flat
surface or mounted on a wall. Up to five units can be
connected together with a single power source.
