Work Items
The account read screen for an ORION Migratable
endpoint provides access to the two-way
communication functionality of the endpoint
through which work items are collected.
Work items are used to collect extended status,
historical interval data and/or endpoint firmware
version of the ORION Migratable endpoints on
the route.

When the ORION Field Application software is used with ReadCenter Analytics or Analytics Mobile software, work items can
be assigned to the ORION Migratable endpoints in the route for automatic collection or they can be performed manually by
the meter reader.
Before work items are completed, the Work Items button is red (Figures 24 and 25). After a reading is received and work items
are complete, the button is green (Figure 26).

Work Items File
The data collected from a work item is saved in .xml file format and becomes part of the route unload file for ReadCenter
Analytics or Analytics Mobile. The .xml file is stored, along with the route unload file, on the memory stick—in the
CONNECT>TO_CONNECT folder—and sent back to the reading data management operator.
