Planting Remove planter lid and add ¹/₂ cup of water to the soil. Sprinkle 6-8 seeds and push each ¹/₄" into soil. Place planter in sunny window (8+ hours of direct sunlight) or under a grow light. Germination Seeds will germinate in 14-21 days. For best results, keep the top 2" of soil moist by adding water when it looks dry. 2" Watering Lavender is a drought-resistant plant and prefers drier soil after germination. Throughout growth, allow soil to dry out before each new watering.

thinning When seedlings reach ~3" tall, use your thumb and forefinger to remove all but the 3 strongest seedlings. TIP: Even at just 3" tall, your plant will give off an aromatic lavender fragrance... go ahead, give it a smell! Fertilizing 8 weeks after planting, push 1 fertilizer spike into the soil, away from stems and roots. Add the 2nd spike after flowers appear. Flowering Lavender normally likes to flower between spring and early fall.
