All set for quick fitting
The SLIDE module screws onto the underside of your desk or
table top. The screw fixtures are designed for tops up to 20 mm
thick. If the thickness is more than 20 mm you will need to rout
the area around the SLIDE module housing down to 20 mm.
The dimensions of the sliding panel in the desk or table top
are approx. 302.5 x 236 mm (L x W). The built-in frame for
the socket outlets is attached to the SLIDE module using the
screws included in the scope of supply. The power strips (short
version) can also be attached to this built-in frame and inter-
changed if required. Please refer to page 16 for power strips.
Sealed cables can also be supplied
The SLIDE module's moving carriage is opened and closed
using a pushbutton. The carriage itself has an "elongated slot"
so that cables can be routed even when the unit is closed.
Customers can choose whether to also include this slot in the
desk or table top in the design of the cut-out.
Electronics for safety
As soon as a resistance is felt by the moving "carriage", the
electronics will bring it to a halt. This prevents fingers and
cablesgetting trapped, avoiding possible injuries or damage.
