POWER-PIPE DRAIN WATER HEAT RECOVERY
All natural drafting combustion
appliances are susceptible to
back-drafting or “spillage” of flue
gases. This alarm provides an
audible alert when a natural
drafting combustion appliance
begins to spill combustion air
back into the home.
• Used primarily with gas or propane fired water heaters and boilers
• Installs at the appliance
• Has 2 temperature sensors that
get attached to the appliance hood
• The al
arm will alert residents to take action to correct a
potential problem
•
Battery operated, can be re-set easily
• This device measures temperature only — does not
measure pollutants
