Timers and Controls
FAN DELAY TIMER SWITCH 24 HOUR ELECTRO-MECHANICAL TIMER
• 3 wires
• Fits in a single gang box, comes with its own faceplate
• Allows the homeowner to use an exhaust fan for
background ventilation
With 72 pins representing 20 minutes each, an on-off pattern can
be set that suits the homeowner’s needs. i.e. 20 minutes per hour,
20 minutes every 2 hours, 20 minutes per hour part of the day and
40 minutes per hour part of the day.
This timer also has a three-position
slide switch — off, auto and on. If the homeowner does not need the
fan running,
slide the switch to “off”. Use it on “auto” for a timed
on/off pattern. Slide the switch to “on” and the fan will run
continuously. Often this timer is located out of sight and wired in
parallel with an on/off wall switch that will run the fan as needed.

Information:
All of our timers are compatible with standard residential wiring, 120 vac. Some require 120 vac power to operate the timer itself.
Most require grounding. It is best to have a licensed electrician install fans and timers to insure safety and code compliance.
Some of the timers are programmable, some have a speed control option and some have an override function so as to use
the fan on full speed for a period of time. Please call if we can help you with your selection.
• 2 wires
• Surface mounted control,
requires its own box
• Range = 20%–80% R.H.
Often wired in parallel with an on-off wall
switch, dehumidistats are used to insure
that a fan will run when humidity rises.
The best place to locate a dehumidistat is
in the bathroom, high on the wall. The
unit has a dial that can be ad
justed to
respond to
various levels of humidity.
