1.3 Units of Measurement
The monitor’s LCD shows N
2
O concentrations expressed as either a
current (real time) ppm reading, or a time-weighted-average (TWA) ppm
value.
Note that the TWA ppm value is calculated using either the total elapsed-
time period that the monitor was switched ON, or over a set 8-hour
period. The method used to calculate TWA is set in software, and cannot
be changed using the monitor’s front panel pushbuttons. Refer to Sections
2.5, 2.6, and 2.7 for additional TWA information.
