5. Press the left SELECT key until the CO (ppm) indicator is lit.
6. Connect calibration setup to the instrument. Then adjust regulator on
gas cylinder for a flowmeter indication of 0.5 to 1 SCFH.
7. Allow gas to flow 2 minutes, then read CO concentration on the
combustion analyzer’s left display. Compare this indication to the CO
calibration concentration stamped on the gas cylinder.
8. Using a potentiometer adjustment tool, adjust CO Span pot R9 (Fig. 4-
6) until the analyzer’s CO indication matches the gas cylinder’s con-
centration value.
9. Shut off regulator and remove gas line. Then while monitoring the CO
concentration display, allow the pump to run until the CO display is
reduced to zero.
10.Press RUN key to stop pump; then reconnect filter/trap to the
analyzer’s gas inlet.
11.If no other calibration adjustments are to be made, replace the control
panel and printer (if applicable).
