3.7 CHANGING FUELS
To change fuels after an efficiency test has been run, proceed as follows:
1. If not already stopped, stop the pump by pressing the RUN key.
2. Press and hold the FUEL key. The left display shows what fuel is
presently being used in the combustion efficiency calculations.
3. While holding down the FUEL key, repeatedly press the left SELECT
key until the desired fuel is shown in the left display.
3.8 COMBUSTION ANALYZER SHUTDOWN AND STORAGE
Proceed as follows to shut down and store your Model 300 Combustion
Analyzer:
1. If not already stopped, press RUN key to stop the analyzer’s pump.
WARNING!
Probe may be hot. To avoid burns, always handle the probe with
heat-protective gloves.
2. Remove probe from the stack or flue, and seal the sampling hole.
CAUTION:
Before storing probe inside case, allow probe to cool.
3. To quickly cool the probe tube, draw cool ambient air through the tube
by pressing the RUN key to restart the pump. Allow pump to run until
probe reaches room temperature; then press RUN key to stop pump.
4. Unplug AC power cord and store in case, or set battery pack Power
switch to OFF (see Figure 3-9).
