3. OPERATION
3.1. Connecting Instruments to the PC
Connect a supported Bacharach indoor air quality monitoring device to your PC with
the supplied USB cable. The PC will detect the instrument and, if connected for the
first time, the PC will indicate “Found New Hardware” as shown below.

After the Add New Hardware/Driver Installation process is complete, double click on
the IQ Chek icon on your desktop to start the IQ Chek program. From the main IQ
Chek screen, you can connect to your device by clicking on Connect To
Detector(s) button (shown below).
Open Graph File
To open and select
existing IQ Chek graph
files (.YVG format).
Open CSV File
To open and select CSV
files from the SD card
reader (.CSV format).
Connect to Detector(s)
Establishes a
communications
connection between the
PC and the physically-
connected instrument(s)
(via USB cable).
