The AIT - SmarTecanalyzes refrigerants in their liquid state rather
than vapor states, and, as such,eliminates errors caused by other
Non-Dispersive Infra Red hand held methods. AIT - SmarTec™ is the
most accurate, portable method known to the HVAC/R industry, meeting
ARI’s 700 Standard of 99.5% and higher.
In addition, the unit is fully upgradeable. The AIT - SmarTec
technology offers a variety of options to the technician. Using the onboard
micro-processor, the basic unit in the stand-alone mode identifies any six
gases to 0.5% purity. In addition, the is fully upgradeable. When the
application calls for a greater library of gases or special modification to
simplify a process, these upgrades can be simply downloaded from
Bacharach’s web site and uploaded directly into the unit.
The AIT - SmarTecoffers various communication configurations through its software design via the RS 232 Port. It
can also monitor gases both from both on-site and remote applications, thus saving the technician time and money.
Furthermore, results can be printed for confirmation and auditing purposes.
