Straightener
The BaByliss 230 elegance
straightener is specially designed
to straighten and shape your
hair perfectly in a single stroke. It
exceptional dimensions (110mm
long and 24mm wide) are adapted
for the length of the hair.
You will be pleased by the
extreme softness of the new Satin
Touch plates. This satin touch will
give your hair incomparable shine
and silkness
The i Temperature Technology en-
sures perfect straightening in just
one stroke, all the while respec-
ting your hair.
Finally, the BaByliss 230 elegance
straightener has the ionic
function. Negative ions are
distributed through the hair
during straightening to reduce
frizz and static electricity.

To straighten your hair
Prepare your hair for
straightening: wash and blow
dry your hair and untangle using
a large-toothed comb.
Separate your hair into sections.
Clip the upper layers to the top
or your head to work with the
layers underneath.
Plug in the BaByliss 230 elegance
straightener and press the ‘I’
button.
When using the unit for the rst
time, you might notice a little
smoke and a distinct odour: this is
common and will disappear in the
following use.
You will also notice that the unit
sputters slightly, this sound is
normal for a high output ion
generator.
Select the desired temperature
using the temperature selector.
Generally, it is recommended
that you select a lower
temperature for hair that is ne,
bleached and/or damaged, and a
higher temperature for hair that
is curly, thick and/or dicult to
style. Because every hair type is
dierent, we recommend using
position 1 the rst time. For
following uses, you can slowly
increase the temperature if
necessary. See the table below
