Machine Quilting Tip: Practical uses for Baseline
Use the Baseline funcon to stch a quilt with mulple, idencal blocks. Mark the area of
the rst block, t the design to the block using Skew or other funcons to modify the design,
and then baseline the design. Quilt the block. Clear the Area. The design will maintain
its size and shape. Reposion the design to another block and quilt the design. Connue
quilng the baselined design on the blocks throughout the quilt.
Use Baseline when you want to crop mulple shapes from a design. Mark and crop the rst
area, and then select Baseline. Clear the area and create a new area in another locaon for
cropping. Connue to mark and crop as desired, followed by selecng Baseline aer each
crop to create mulple cropped regions in a design.
