Your child’s safety may be affected if you do not follow these instructions.
For the sake of your precious cargo, please read these warnings before using your Baby Jogger. Frame •W arning: Parcels or accessory items, or both, placed on the unit may cause the unit to become unstable. Front Tube Connector • Warning: Never leave your child unattended. •W arning: Recommended weight for seat pocket is 2 lbs (1 kg) and basket is 7 lbs (3.2 kg). Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.
Front Wheel Footplate 3 T ighten by turning the wheel lever while holding the opposite side. 1 T o install front wheel, lay stroller 1 I nsert the footplate tab into the footplate holder slot. 2 S nap down onto stroller frame. 3U sing a phillips head screwdriver, attach footplate to stroller frame with screw supplied (You will find the screw in the bag with the instructions). Note: You will need to rest the stroller handle on the floor in order to get to the bottom of the footplate.
Reclining Seat Rear Wheels Spring Lock 1 T o recline: Pinch the clamp and slide it down the recline strap to desired recline and push seat down. • T o install, gently slide the wheel’s axle into the hole in the axle end until you hear it click into place. • T o remove, simply push in the spring lock while pulling out the wheel. 2 T o return to the upright position: Hold the D-ring on the end of the recline strap in one hand and use the other to pinch the clamp and slide it up the strap.
Parking Brake Safety Harness arning: Engage W parking device before loading and unloading passenger. • S imply push brake pedal down to engage rear parking brakes and lift up to release. 1U nclip top of shoulder strap from the seat and re-clip on the pair of seat loops closest to child’s shoulder height. 2 T o adjust the strap length: Remove the shoulder pads and move the plastic guide up or down to lengthen or shorten.
Seat Canopy Attaching 1 S nap seat to the frame. 1 T o attach bracket to frame: Unsnap seat from frame to reveal mounting location. Use a phillips head screwdriver to attach bracket screws to frame. 2 T o attach canopy to bracket: Insert canopy 2 F asten the two bottom Velcro straps. One is located near the front of seat and the other is near the footplate. frame into bracket and attach screws using a phillips head screwdriver.
Folding Note: It is not necessary to remove the footplate to fold stroller. In Motion Steering • S teering your Performance Single is simple: it’s balanced to turn with just a light touch on the handlebar. For tighter turns, push down on the handlebar and raise the front wheel to steer. Front Tube Connector Wrist Strap •M ake sure wrist strap is around your wrist whenever your baby is in the stroller.
Stroller Care WarrAnty Registration On-Line AT www.babyjogger.com/register Washing •Y ou can machine wash your stroller’s seat in cold water with a mild detergent. To minimize shrinkage, simply reattach the seat to the frame to dry. (Please do not put the seat in the dryer!) •B e sure to remove the frame from the back of the seat before washing. • You may clean the stroller frame using a soft, dry cloth and an occasional spray of household wax will maintain its healthy glow.
