APC9 PRO - ADVANCED POLICE CARBINE PRO

The operator community is split on certain SMG features. In order to offer a choice, B&T has introduced
the APC9 PRO. It offers ambidextrous non-reciprocating foldable charging handles, an interchangeable
handgrip and a bolt catch/release lever while maintaining all the superior features of the APC family.
Since the APC9 was introduced in 2014, it has convinced many law enforcement agencies and has won
SMG contracts in many European countries and is now winning some in the US. There are however some ope-
rators/agencies that preferred a non-reciprocating charging handle and some other features. B&T therefore
decided to create a second line of APC´s, called the APC PRO. It incorporates many of the features desired by
the customers. In addition to what is found on the standard APC9, the APC9 PRO has the above mentioned
ambidextrous, non-reciprocating, folding charging handles and a lower with a removable M4 type handgrip.
This enables the user customize the weapon with aftermarket grips to suit different hand sizes. The bolt catch
and release has been incorporated in one lever. As usual all controls, including the selector and the magazine
release, are ambidextrous. The introduction of the B&T APC PRO and its variants, the APC9 PRO K (short) and
APC9 PRO SD (suppressed), has not only expanded the range of the APC but now offers a complete selection
to meet any operator´s preference.
