Working With Symbol Libraries 141
 Select the Lib Maintenance command.
 Select the library to be compacted as the Source Lib.
 Select the new, empty library as the Dest Lib.
 Click on the Compact button.
IMPORTANT: Verify that the new destination library is correct before discarding the old copy.
Operations on Symbols in a Schematic
.Saving a Symbol Definition from a Schematic to a
Library
The Save Part to Library command saves a type definition for the selected device
to a library. The following box will be displayed:
