3 Quick Test Mode – SOC
TheQuickTestmodeisusedtonddegradedordamagedbatteriesquickly.Thetestcanbeconguredandresults
viewedinafewminutes.Theonlyinformationrequiredisthebatteryamperehour(Ah).Thisisusuallyfounddirectlyon
thebatteryorthebatterymanufacturer’sdatasheet.Theamperehoursettingusedduringthetestissavedinmemory.
This feature supports testing batteries of the same type without the need of reentering the ampere hour value each time
themeterisdisconnectedandreconnected.It’simportanttorememberthattheQuickTestmodedoesnotsave
measurement results.
1. Disconnectthebatteryorbatteriesfromthechargercircuit.Dressthechargercircuitleadssotheydonotcomein
contact with each other or any other conductive parts of the cabinet or control board.
2. VerifythatbatteryvoltageandAh,iswithinthespecificationsofthe603B.
3. Connectthebatteryobservingthecorrectpolarity.
