4.8 Record Mode Charger Circuit Test
TherecordmodechargercircuittestworksthesameasintheQuickTestmodewiththedierencebeingthetestresults
aresavedintherecord.The603Bwillrememberthelastrecordinusetoallowtheusertomovethebatterycablefrom
the battery to the charger circuit.

1. Pressthebuttontoaccessthe<CHARGERTEST>mode.
Disconnect battery &
connect
charge
Circuit. Press TEST
when ready
Disconnectbatterymessage
5. Keepthedefaulttemperaturevalueorusethetoadjustthetemperaturetorecordamoreaccuratebattery
 environment.Thisinformationisnotusedinthe603Bcalculationsthisisonlystoredinthedatabaserecordforfuture
analysis by the user.
Tip:Useanonecontactthermometertomeasurethebatterytemperatureformoreaccuratedatabaserecord.
6. Pressthebuttontosavethechangestothe603Bmemory.The603Bwillrespondwiththemessage“Data
 Saved”.
7. To test the charger circuit press the button and follow the on-screen instructions.
The test leads can be removed from the battery and reconnected to the charge circuit.
8. Pressthebuttonorsimpledisconnectthe603Btomovetothenextbatterytestorlocation.
Tip:Formultiplesiteormultiplesystems,buildtherecordlesinthesameorderyouwillbecompletingthetestsinthe
eld.
