4.6.6 SOC Prole Settings
ThissectiondescribethestepsusedtocreateaUserdenedSOCtable.Thevaluesinthetableareusedtocalculate
theremainingbatterycapacity.The603Bincludestwodefaultproletablesonefor6voltand12.Thesetwoproles
cannotbemodiedandaresuitableformostSLAbatteryapplications.The603BalsohassixusereditableSOCproles
three for each voltage.
DuringtheSOCtest(recordmode),the603Bwillrecordseveralusefulmeasurementsafewoftheseareintendedtohelp
the user evaluate the battery life cycle and performance over time.
SOT,thetableusedduringthetest.Thetableusedissetinthe“SOCSelection
VO,openvoltage,usedtolookupthevalueintheSOCtable.
SOV,thevoltagevaluefoundinthelookuptable.
Remainingcapacity(RM)asapercentage.
Tip:ToavoidconfusioninthebatteryhistoryrecordtheusermustusecautionwhenworkingwithUserdenedSOC
tables.KeeprecordsofeachSOCtablegeneratedandwhenitwasputintousecanhelpusersbetterunderstandthe
batteryhistory.FormostusersthedefaultSOCtablesarerecommend.
8. Pressthebuttontoproceed.Aconrmationscreenwillbepresentedprovidingtheoptiontoproceedorcancel.
9. Pressthebutton,allrecordswillbedeletedandthesettingswillberestoredtofactorysettings.Thisprocess
 willalsoerasesthecalibrationleandreturnsthe603Btoadefaultbasecalibration.Calibrationcanonlybe
 recoveredifthelastcalibrationleforthespecic603Bwassavedandavailable.Ifnotthe603Bshouldbe
re-calibrated following the process in the Calibration section.
