3.4 Horizontal System

Roll Button
Enter roll mode, which displays slow waveforms
like a strip chart recorder.
Zoom Button
The zoom function splits the screen into two
portions and displays a "magnified" image in time
of the waveform(s) in the top portion in the bottom
section. Turn the scale knob (the knob on the left)
to adjust the size of the viewing window. This
features lets you see detail in waveforms not easily
visible in the unzoomed display.
Position Knob
Sets the horizontal location of the trigger event on
the display. The waveform will move left or right
when you turn the knob. The delay value at the top
of the screen will change as the knob is turned.
Press the knob to reset the trigger delay to zero.
