For G.SHDSL interface, the G.SHDSL page has the following
subpages:
The Common subpage displays the G.SHDSL device
characteristics on the first line: type, version number and the
serial number.
State displays the driver internal connection state.
The Link displays the G.SHDSL link status and the internal
status of the modem connection is displayed as link value.
Fig. II-153: ATM Statistics – G.SHDSL – Common page
The DSP subpage indicates a collection of device internal data.
Subpage is divided into two pages:
Status page indicates an internal status and consists of the
following components:
State – internal connection status
Start progress – internal status while establishing
connection
Actual bitrate - actual bitrate
Actual annex type – list of supported annex types
Firmware release - G.SHDSL device firmware release
number
Signal-to-noise ratio – the Signal-to-noise ration signal
strength
Receiver gain – the receiver gain signal strength
XMIT power –transmit power
Retain page indicates information about possible retrain
conditions:
A retrain is performed when the average signal-to-noise
ratio exceeds the reference signal-to-noise ratio.
A retrain is performed when there are more than 3
seconds with continuous CRC errors.
A retrain is performed when there are more than 2
seconds with continuous frame sync error.
Last retrain reason shows whether a bad signal to noise
ratio, CRC errors or frame sync errors caused the last
retrain.

Firewall and NAT
The Firewall Configuration page allows setting up a firewall, configuring the security level and enabling the NAT and IDS services of Quadro.
A Firewall is a security service configured by the Quadro administrator based on various criteria. The firewall allows or blocks traffic based on
policies, services and/or IP addresses. The firewall has several levels of security policies (low, medium or high). The administrator may add
additional service-based rules. Filtering rules will take effect only if the Firewall has been enabled and are independent from the selected firewall
security level.
NAT (Network Address Translation) is used to allow Quadro LAN members to connect to the Internet, using Quadro's WAN IP address. The
Quadro/NAT also handles forwarding incoming packets from the WAN to the PCs or devices on Quadro’s LAN.
The IDS (Intrusion Detection System) is a type of firewall, but together with deleting dangerous packets or packets containing intrusion attacks, IDS
generates a log file with information about these dropped packets and the senders responsible for those packets. The log can be viewed on the
IDS
Log
page and notifications about them can be sent to the user in various ways (e-mail, flashing LED and display notification).
