CAR KIT - User Guide
Chapter 3 Using the Bluetooth
®
Car Kit
3.1 Connecting the Car Kit
Connect the Car Kit to the cigar lighter and switch on the car ignition. A blue light at the
Bluetooth
®
logo indicates that your Car Kit is connected.
IMPORTANT: The first time you connect your car kit, you will hear the words
<< Please pair device >>. If this is not the case, reset the system by
holding the red and green buttons down simultaneously for at least 2
seconds. Then proceed to pair your phone to the Car Kit (Please refer
to the chapter concerning your phone model).
Your phone will now automatically connect to the Car Kit whenever it is within a few meters
distance.
To switch off the Car Kit, either cut the ignition or unplug the Car Kit from the cigar lighter.
3.2 Using the Car Kit with your mobile phone
Before using the Car Kit for the first time, you must pair it with your phone. Each Car Kit can
pair up to 5 phones at one time. Additional functions are available depending on your mobile
phone model.
