7.7 Call a contact manually
Dial a number on your phone. The call will automatically be transferred to the Car Kit.
IMPORTANT: If you are making a manual call on a T68i and the conversation remians
on the handset, you must set the phone up to direct all manual calls to
the hands-free function automatically.
• Select “Connections” in the phone menu.
• Press ↓ until “Bluetooth
®
” and press Yes”.
• Press ↓ until “Options” and press “Yes”.
• Press ↓ until “Earpiece Sound” or “Hands-free”. Press “Yes” to validate.
• Select “Earpiece” or “Hands-free”and press “Yes”.
IMPORTANT: If your T68i has been paired with another wireless device incorporating
the Blurtooth® technology in addition to the Car Kit and your phone is
set to “Headset” (see Phone Configuration), you need to set the phone
to receive calls on the Car Kit.
• Go to “Connections”.
• Press ↓ until “Bluetooth
®
” and press “Yes”.
• Press ↓ until “Paired Devices” and press “Yes” to validate. Select “V3.18”.
• Press ↓ until “Set as first”and validate.
7.8 Accessing the phone’s Menu option
Depending on your phone, apply the following procedure to access this menu:
For R520/T39/T39m, press → until “Extras”.
For T68, press → until “Connect”.
For T68i/T610/T616/T618/Z600/Z608, press → until “Connections”.
• Press ↓ until “Accessories” and press “Yes”.
• Go to the “Menu” and press “Yes” to display the menu headings: “Phonebook”;
“Settings”; “Voice Recognition”; “Erase Memory”.
• Select the section you want by using ↓ and click on “Yes” to validate.
