7.2 Voice Tags
You can use your phone to assign voice tags to the names in your phonebook. The Car Kit
allows you to use these voice tags to call your contacts. Just press the green button on the Car Kit
control unit and say the name of your contact after the beep.
Correct recording of the voice tags is very important. The reliability of the voice dialing system
depends of the standard of the recording. To obtain optimum operation, please, comply with
these recommendations:
• Speak out clearly and naturally.
• Make the recording in quiet place.
• Turn off your engine, radio and ventilation.
• Close the doors and windows.
IMPORTANT: The reliability of the voice recognition system depends on the quality
of the recorded voice tags. For optimal results, please follow these
instructions:
- Speak clearly.
- Record the voice tag in a quiet place.
- Stop the engine, radio and ventilation.
- Close the doors and windows.
Apply the following procedure depending on your phone:
• For R520/T39/T39m, press → until “Extras”.
• For T68, press → until “Connect”.
• For T68i/T610/T618/Z600/Z806, press → until “Connections”.
• Press ↓ until “Accessories” and press “Yes”.
• Select the “Menu” and press “Yes”.
• Select “Phonebook” and press “Yes”.
• Select “List” and press “Yes”.
• Select a name and press “Yes”.
• Select “Yes” and say the name displayed.
• Select “Yes” and repeat.
In your list of names, a star indicates those, which have tags. To call a contact with a voice tag,
press the green button on the Car Kit and say the name of your contact after the beep.
