Connevans innovation ‒ Remote Volume Control (RVC) of
IR Classmate +
units
Using a
Swift
TX
with an
IR Classmate
+
receiver amplifier you can remotely adjust
your soundfield volume.
Pressing the ‘+’ or ’‒’ buttons on the
Swift
TX
sends a digital control signal to the
IR Classmate
+
receiver/amplifier to change the volume ‒ a really useful facility if the
class is more boisterous than usual!
Remote volume
control buttons
Outputs Twin auxiliary output.
Users of personal fm radio
systems can rebroadcast the
classroom sound directly to
their own receiver by
connecting their own
transmitter to an aux o/p.
The benefit is that the personal
fm user then hears the overall
mixed sound including the
class input &
multimedia etc.
‒ please see rebroadcast
connection packs on page 91.
Remote volume control
Swift
TX
transmitters can remotely control their channel
volume when used with
IR Classmate
+
units
Inputs & controls The IR Classmate has a 2 channel IR receiver for
receiving two separate infra red transmitters simultaneously ‒
typically a
Swift
TX
for the teacher and a handheld for class
participation. There are also 2 stereo inputs for multimedia, TV, CD etc.
plus 1 input for a wired microphone, giving 5 inputs in total each with
their own volume control. There are both treble & bass tone controls.
