We are often asked why we offer more than one classroom soundfield and how to choose between them. To
give an overview:
The IR Swift
+ is our most popular Soundfield system and we would like you to see why!
We will bring an IR Swift system to your school, set it up, show you how to use it and leave it with
you to try in your own time ‒ at the end of the trial, just pay the invoice or if you do not see a
positive difference to the learning in the classroom (unlikely!) send it back to us ‒ simple!
This single wall-mounted unit gives excellent quality sound suitable for most classrooms;
it is easy to install and also has the lowest price tag when the cost of installation is considered.
The IR Classmate is our recommended top of the range system. Ideal for larger classrooms or those which
are more acoustically challenging. This multi-speaker solution, with a secure lockable wall unit, will give
fantastic sound coverage.
Each of the above Soundfield systems are designed and manufactured in the UK by Connevans ‒ in particular
they are designed to be used with the most popular
Swift TX teacher’s microphone, the easiest to use and lightest
of its type available ‒ many teachers comment that it is so light, you will quickly forget you are wearing it!
For classrooms where security is not an issue the shelf mounted Azden IRR-30P gives the same excellent
sound coverage as the IR Classmate, with a lower price tag.
The Phonak Roger Dynamic SoundField, is suited to schools already using Dynamic FM or Roger radio aid
systems for their deaf students.
