Finding new radio stations - DAB
Over time new stations may become available. To nd new stations you can auto scan
as follows.
1- Press the MENU button until the display shows “settings”.
2- Press TUN+ button until you see “Full scan”.
3- Press SELECT button. The display will show “Scanning...” as your radio performs a
scan. As new radio stations are found they will be added to memory
1- Some radio stations have additional secondary services associated with them.
If a radio station has a secondary service associated with it the display will show
“>>” next to the station name on the station list. The secondary service will then
appear immediately after the primary services when you press the TUN+ buttons.
2- Press SELECT to choose the station.
3- When the secondary service shuts down, your radio will automatically switch back to
the main radio station if it is available.
Secondary services - DAB
Manual tuning allows you to tune your radio to a particular DAB frequency in Band
III. This function is mainly used to assist the positioning of the aerial or the radio to
optimise reception for a specic channel or frequency and see the signal strength on
your display.
1- When in DAB mode, press MENU.
2- Press TUN+ button to Choose “Manual tune”
3- Choose the required DAB channel / Frequency. Press ENTER.
When the radio has searched, the display will show the
channel number with frequency(MHz) and the name of the multiplex found(if any).
A bar graph shows the signal strength. Any new stations found will be added to the
list already stored in the radio.
4- Press TUN+ to choose a different frequnecy.
5- Press MENU to go back to the main menu.
