WARNING EXPLANATION OF GRAPHICAL SYMBOLS: CAUTION RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT OPEN The lightening flash with arrowhead symbol within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user of "dangerous voltage" inside the unit. ATTENTION : To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. There are no user serviceable parts inside the unit. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

Ensure that the unit is switched off before you make any connections.
TURN ON / OFF THE SYSTEM Press the ON/ STANDBY button to turn the audio on. To change the audio mode between CD, RADIO, USB, SD/MMC and AUX., press FUNCTION button while the power is on. the audio mode is displayed. Power will be cut off automatically when CD, MP3, USB and SD/MMC function in stop mode for 15 minutes. FUNCTION STANDBY CLOCK SETTING In STANDBY mode 1. Press the MENU button to select the CLOCK mode, the LCD display will show “CLOCK". 2. Press the button to enter the clock setting mode.
PRESET EQ Preset EQ : FLAT, ROCK, JAZZ, CLASSIC, POP. Press PRESET EQUALIZER button to select your preferred sound, preset mode is shown on the display. PRESET EQ TUNER OPERATION Tuning a RADIO Station 1. Press FUNCTION button repeatedly until “TUNER” is shown. 5. To stop the auto tuning, press the TUNE + / NEXT or TUNE - / BACK button again. FUNCTION Selecting FM Stereo/Mono mode 1. To select FM stereo/mono mode, press STEREO/ MONO button. 2.
COMPACT DISC PLAYBACK 1. 4. Close the CD door, the disc will rotate. For CD : The total tracks of the disc will show on the display. For MP3/WMA/USB/SD : The total tracks of the disc and total number of the folder will show on the display. Press FUNCTION button repeatedly until “CD” is shown on display. FUNCTION 5. 2. Press the CD open/close button to open the CD door. 3. Insert a disc with the label side facing up. After disc read finished, the disc will play automatically.
REPEAT , REPEAT ALL , REPEAT A B , REPEAT FOLDER PLAYBACK Press PLAY MODE button during stop mode. For CD : Total number of tracks and time will be shown. For MP3/WMA/USB: Total number of tracks and folder will be shown. FOR NORMAL COMPACT DISC PLAYBACK Mode sequence REPEAT >> REPEAT ALL >> CLEAR. During Repeat 1 mode, display shows FOR MP3 / WMA / USB / SD PLAYBACK Mode sequence REPEAT >> REPEAT ALL >> REPEAT FOLDER >> CLEAR.
PROGRAMMED CD OPERATION FOR NORMAL COMPACT DISC PLAYBACK Programmed playback enables tracks on a disc to be played in the desired order. Up to 20 tracks can be programmed. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Program mode works in STOP mode only. Holding “PROGRAM / MEMORY” button for 2 seconds to enter program mode. The “PROG” icon will be turned on. “000 P01” will be shown with “000” flashing. “000” represents track number and “P01” represents program location number.
Mute On/Off The mute on/ off is changed cyclically by pushing MUTE button. The “mute” mark is on during mute is on. The mute on is cancelled in case as shown below. a. The power is off/on. b. The Volume is adjusted by the VOL +/- button. FOLDER SELECTION 1. 2. In STOP mode, press BAND/FOLDER button will skip to the next folder. The operation valid for all media of MP3 / WMA / USB / SD operation. BAND/FOLDER ID3 Display 1. 2. 3. 4. Press MENU button repeatedly unit ID3 shown on the display.
MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE UNIT Do not use volatile chemicals on this unit. Clean by lightly wiping with a soft cloth. CLEANING CD If the CD skips or will not play , the disc may need cleaning. Before playing, wipe the disc from the centre out with a cleaning cloth. After playing, store the disc in its case. IMPORTANT NOTE If an abnormal display indication or an operating problem occurs, disconnect the AC power cord .Wait at least 5 seconds, then reconnect the AC power cord .
