Before performing operations, press @XM to select "XM" as the
input source,
• All Channel Search mode
1 Press @SEARCH MODE (or _SRCH
MODE) repeatedly to select "ALL CH
SEARCH".
2 Press @PRESET/TUNING/CH <l/I> (or
@ PRESET/CH A / V) repeatedly to search
for a channel within all channels.
• You can search for a channel quickly by pressing and holding
@PRESETiTUNING/CH <t / I> (or @PRESET/CH A / V).
• To display the XM Radio ID number displayed ill the front
panel display, select channel "0".
• Category Search mode
1 Press @SEARCH MODE (or _SRCH
MODE) repeatedly to select "CAT SEARCH".
2 Press @CATEGORY (or @A-E/CAT. <1 / I>)
repeatedly to change the channel category.

Press OPRESET/TUNING/CH <1/t> (or
PRESET/CH A / V) repeatedly to search
for a channel within the selected channel

You can search for a channel quickly by pressing and holding
@PRESETiTUNING/CH <1/ I> (or @PRESET/CH A / V).
• Preset Search mode
Prior to selecting a preset channel in the Preset Search
mode, you must preset XM Satellite Radio channels. For
details, see "Setting XM Satellite Radio preset channels"
on page 49.

All preset channels (AI to E8) recalls "001 Preview" by the initial
factory setting.
1 Press @SEARCH MODE (or _SRCH
MODE) repeatedly to select "PRESET
SEARCH",
3 Press @PRESET/TUNING/CH <l/t> (or
PRESET/CH A /V) repeatedly to change
the preset channel number (1 to 8).

Youcan also select the presetchannel number directly by
pressing the numeric buttons ( 1to 8) on the remote control.
• Direct Number Access mode
1 Press _SRCH MODE repeatedly to select
"ALL CH SEARCH" or "CAT SEARCH".
Press the numeric buttons (@) to enter the
desired three-digit channel number.
For example, to enter the number 123, press the
numeric buttons as shown below.
The display changes as follows.

• Toenter a one-digit or two-digit channel number, press the
numeric buttons (@) and then press @ ENT to confirm the
input number.Instead of pressing @ENT to tune into the
channel immediately,you can wait a few seconds until this unit
confirms the entered channel number.
• Pressing a button other than the numericbuttons (@)or @ENT
cancels theDirect Number Access mode procedure.
2 Press @CATEGORY (or @A-E/CAT. <1 / t>)
repeatedly to change the preset channel
group (A to E).
