INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Attention! Let the vehicle sit with the key

out of the ignition for a few minutes before

removing the factory radio. When testing the

aftermarket equipment, ensure that all factory

equipment is connected before cycling the

key to ignition.

CONNECTIONS From the XSVI-9006-NAV harness to the aftermarket radio: • Connect the Black wire to the ground wire. • Connect the Yellow wire to the battery wire. • Connect the Red wire to the accessory wire. • If the aftermarket radio has an illumination wire, connect the Orange wire to it. • Tape off and disregard the Blue/White wire, it will not be used in this application. • Connect the Gray wire to the right front positive speaker output.

INSTALLATION With the key in the off position: 1. Connect the XSVI-9006 harness into the interface, and then to the wiring harness in the vehicle. Note: The harness will connect to the harness removed from the disc drive located in the glove box for remote tuner applications. 2. If an ASWC-1 (sold separately) will be used, do not connect it until the interface is programmed and fully functional. PROGRAMMING Attention! If the interface ever loses power, the following steps will need to be performed again.

Have the vehicle apart and ready to perform troubleshooting steps before contacting Metra/Axxess Tech Support.

CONEXIONES Desde el arnés XSVI-9006-NAV al radio de mercado secundario: • Conecte el cable negro al cable de tierra. • Conecte el cable amarillo al cable de la batería. Los siguientes (3) cables son para radios de mercado secundario con multimedios/navegación que incluyen estos cables (si no se requieren, encíntelos e ignórelos). • Conecte el cable verde claro al cable de freno de mano. • Conecte el cable rojo al cable de accesorios. • Conecte el cable azul/rosa al cable VSS o del sensor de velocidad.

INSTALACIÓN Con la llave en la posición de apagado: 1. Conecte el arnés XSVI-9006 a la interfaz, y luego al arnés de cableado en el vehículo. Nota: El arnés se conectará al arnés retirado de la unidad de disco ubicada en la guantera para aplicaciones de sintonizador remoto. 2. Si se utilizará un ASWC-1 (se vende por separado), no lo conecte hasta que la interfaz esté programada y sea completamente funcional.
