The most important features
Four Channel Amplier with 50/70/100 V
and Low Impedance Output
The Axxent T-Series power ampliers are optimized for
constant voltage distribution in xed installations. The
new 4 channel model AX-4120TS extends this series and
provides some new important features. The transformer
power supply has been replaced by a light weight switched
mode power supply.
The amplier is equipped with power limiting control for
all 4 channels. Excellent audio performance with low dis-
tortion and low noise is supported by high CMRR balanced
line receiver ICs in the input stages.
Beside the constant voltage outputs with 50-, 70- and 100
V taps, the new model provides additional low impedance
outputs. The rated output power is 120 Watts RMS at all
output congurations. This broadband choice of outputs
makes the new AX-4120TS an ideal and most exible
choice for xed installations. Amplier channels may be
operated individually or in pairs in bridge mode for higher
output power. The only controls on the amplier front
panel are the gain controls. For safety reasons the knob
of the potentiometer is detachable and can be replaced
with the blind covers found in the packaging. The inputs
are equipped with balanced XLR connectors, the constant
voltage outputs with Euroblock connectors and the low
impedance outputs with touch proof binding posts. The
power on/o switch with detachable IEC connector is
located on the rear of the amplier, facilitating rack wir-
ing. The robust case and chassis are made of heavy duty
steel with powder coating. CE-Certicate for European
