Für hochwertige Car Audio Komponenten ist eine Montage durch einen professionellen Installateur sehr empfehlenswert. Falls Sie jedoch beabsichtigen, dieses System selbst einzubauen, bitten wir Sie, sich eingehend mit den nachfolgend im Detail beschriebenen Montage- und Einstellmöglichkeiten vertraut zu machen.
MONTAGE DER TIEFMITTELTÖNER n Entfernen Sie die Originalabdeckungen aus Kunststoff (Türe oder Fußraum) oder die komplette Türabdeckung und demontieren Sie, falls vorhanden, die ab Werk montierten Tiefmitteltöner oder Breitbandlautsprecher. n Überprüfen Sie, ob die vorhandene Einbautiefe für jeden der beiden Tiefmitteltöner am vorgesehenen Einbauort ausreicht.
PLAZIERUNG DER HOCHTÖNER Die Platzierung der Hochtöner hat einen recht großen Einfluss auf das klangliche Gesamtresultat. Je nach Ausrichtung und der relativen Höhe des Montageplatzes der Hochtöner, resultieren unterschiedliche Lautstärken im Hochtonbereich und es ergeben sich durch die Richtcharakteristik der Hochtöner auch unterschiedliche Frequenzgänge. Zusätzlich hat der Einbauort der Hochtöner auch einen Einfluss auf die räumliche Abbildung der Systeme.
MONTAGE DER HOCHTÖNER Die Hochtöner können auf zwei Arten befestigt werden, dem Set liegen unterschiedliche Gehäuse-Adapter mit Bajonett Verschluss bei. Die Zerlegung und Remontage dieser Adapter ist recht einfach und „narrensicher“. Aufbaumontage des Hochtöners Der Hochtöner für Aufbaumontage besteht aus drei Teilen, dem eigentlichen Hochtöner, dem hinteren Adapterteil und dem vorderen Flansch. Beide Adapterteile werden durch einen Bajonettverschluss miteinander verbunden.
EINSTELLUNGEN AN DER FREQUENZWEICHE Die AXTON SX-Frequenzweichen verfügen über eine Anpassungsmöglichkeit des Hochtonpegels auf der Platine, mit der auf die in jedem Fahrzeug unterschiedliche Einbausituation der Lautsprecher Einfluss genommen werden kann. 0 dB Bei Hochtöner-Montage im unteren Türbereich, in Kickpanels oder aber wenn ein eher heller, hochtonfreudiger Klang erwünscht ist. -3 dB Ausgewogene Stellung, geeignet für die meisten Einbaupositionen.

MOUNTING THE MID/WOOFERS Remove the factory grilles of the door - or if necessary - the complete door panels. The 13 / 16.5 cm EURO-DIN frame mid/woofer units provide bolt and screw holes to fit a great variety of OEM standard patterns, making them ideal for a direct replacement of factory installed speakers in European or Asian cars. n Remove the factory installed mid/woofers or fullrange speakers.
TWEETER MOUNTING LOCATION The tweeter positioning does exhibit a direct and profound influence on the front staging of your component system. Depending on the chosen location where the tweeters will be installed, different loudness levels in the high-frequency region will result. The tweeter level can be adjusted on the pc board of the x-over, to compensate for different mounting locations.
TWEETER INSTALLATION There are two ways to install the AT25 tweeters: Angled surface or fully recessed mounting. Flat Surface Mounting The tweeter system consists of three parts: The main tweeter unit, the backside of the housing adapter and the front ring. n Mark the location where you are going to mount the tweeters. Drill three holes on each side, one main hole with a bigger diameter for the wire and two small pilot holes for the two screws fixing the tweeter housing to the mounting surface.
X-OVER ADJUSTMENTS The AXTON SX component set crossovers come with an adjustment option that allow you to tailor the sound by setting slide a switch on the pc board, to compensate for different mounting locations of the speaker units. The -3dB position is usually the setting that provides a good tonal balance for most installs, while the 0dB position leaves you with a slight excess of energy in the treble region.
