Uno2 Two-handle Sink Faucet 38840XX1 Installation Considerations Be sure that you have all tools and supplies necessary before beginning the installation. The supply hoses on this faucet require supply stops with 3/8” compression fittings (not included). The spout is convertible. Normally, it will swivel 140o. If the spout stop pin is removed before installation of the spout, it will swivel a full 360o.
Installation If the countertop is less than 1 3/8”, install the faucet with the gray plastic spacer, fiber washer, metal washer and mounting nut. 1 If the countertop is greater than 1 3/8”, install the faucet without the spacer. 2 If the countertop is greater than 2 3/8”, install the shaft extension.
The spout swivels 140o. If you want the spout to swivel a full 360o, remove the stop pin before installing the spout. Push the spout straight down into the faucet body. Tighten the set screw. 5 Connect the hot and cold supply hoses to the stops with 3/8” compression fittings (not included). Tighten wrench tight. Do not allow the hoses to twist. Turn on the water and check all connections for leaks.

If the flow of water diminishes, remove and clean the aerator.
