Step 3

Check that the Digidata 1322A and SCSI card are properly installed. In Windows

95/98, go to Start Button/Settings/Control Panel/System/Device Manager tab. The

figure shows an

example of the

Device Manager

window. First, click

on the plus (+) sign

next to Axon

Instruments. You

should see Axon

Digidata 1322.

Then, click on the

plus sign next to

SCSI controllers.

You should see the

label for the SCSI

adapter card

shipped with the

Digidata 1322A.

Double-click on the

SCSI adapter entry

to see the device

status.

Windows NT 4.0

users can verify the

correct installation of the SCSI adapter in a similar manner by going to Start

Button/Settings/Control Panel/SCSI Adapters, and looking at the SCSI adapter list.

In Windows 2000, go to Start Button/Settings/Control Panel/Administrative

Tools/Computer Management/System Tools/Device Manager. The Device

Manager is the same as in Windows 95/98.
