This is a non-drip contact adhesive
with thixotropic properties.
These properties allow for slight
adjustments prior final positioning.
• Suitable for wood, metal, some plastics, cloth, leather

• Setting time 15 minutes approximately
Chestnut super glue is available in
three viscosities. Thin: for use where
you require an exceptionally fine
glue line. The very low viscosity
allows it to run into cracks and
form a repair by capillary action.
Medium: makes a good general-
purpose canoactylate adhesive. It
has a slightly longer cure time than
the thin. Thick: combines a longer
cure time with the ability to fill minor gaps.

Z-Poxy is a quick setting two-part epoxy resin giving a clear,
tough, permanent bond to wood, metals, fibreglass and
many plastics. It has excellent gap filling and shock resistant
characteristics. It is resistant to fuel, oil, many chemicals and
solvents. Available with either a 5 minute or 30 minute set time.
Both packs are 8 fl.oz (4 fl.oz resin; 4 fl.oz hardener).

If you are using super glues then the
chances are at some point in your life
you will need Z-7 Debonder. Its special
formula softens cured super glues into a
jelly like substance, easily removed from
fingers, surfaces etc. A few applications
on a joint allow disassembly after about 4
minutes. However, its formula may affect
some plastics or painted surfaces. Use to
release accidently bonded fingers.

(CA) commonly
referred to as Super
Glues due their almost
instant setting time,
strong adhesion and the
variety of materials they
will bond. The Titebond Instant range of CA adhesives covers
many different applications; the viscosity and setting times vary
according to the chosen product.
Thin: 5 seconds handling time, 3 second set time, good for
running into hairline cracks for repairs and stabilising small
sections of timber.
Medium: 7 seconds handling time, 5 second set time, general-
purpose type of CA glue.
Thick: 10 seconds handling time, 8 second set time, ideal for
stabilising porous woods and using with MDF and trimming
carpentry components.
Gel: 30 seconds handling time, 20 second set time, has excellent
gap filing properties. Its performance is very good when used
with porous materials.

Low viscosity glue that soaks into the end grain, swells the
wood fibres. Once dry it prevents the fibres from shrinking back
thus freezing the wood in its swollen state. Its low viscosity
allows it to run into cracks and joints, such as loose chair rails.

Made in the USA, Plastic Welder will bond hard plastics, metals,
concrete, vinyl, PVC piping and breglass (but not polyethylene
or polypropylene plastics). The waterproof bond, can be
handled in 15 minutes and reaches full strength in 24 hours.
Clean and easy to use the two-part syringe dispenser delivers
equal quantities of glue and hardener to take the guesswork
out of the mix. Combines to make 25ml.

Zap Zip Kicker
The best all round accelerator for both Zap
and all other super glues. A quick spray
results in the almost instantaneous cure of
cyanoacrylate adhesives. Kicker expands
the gap filling properties and solves a lot of
tough bonding problems.

Araldite is epoxy resin well known and regarded. It cures to
produce an incredibly strong bond between many different
types of materials. For convenience when mixing the syringe
dispenses equal amounts of adhesive. Standard Araldite
requires at least 24 hours before the bond is totally set but can
be repositioned for up to 80 minutes. Araldite Rapid gives a
much faster bond time and is totally set within 3 hours.

Zap-A-Gap bonds practically anything in
seconds. It allows 7-10 seconds careful
positioning and is able to bridge slight
gaps. Once parts are in position, a quick
spritz of Zap Zip Kicker will speed up the
cure time.
